What do you think of the new concept of GM, the Chevy Volt?

If you do not know what I mean, here's a link: The http://www.autoblog.com/2007/01/07/detroit-auto-show-chevrolet-volt-concept/ Volt is basically a hybrid car with a ton of battery storage. It can run up to 40 miles on battery power alone, and just plug in the night to recharge, so no more gas, if you drive less than 40 miles per day. The battery technology is not ready yet, but I seems a very nice concept could be a selling vehicle production in a few years. His thoughts on GM and the Volt?

The Volt is different of all hybrids today, as the engine (petrol or diesel) power to the wheels not at all, just recharge the battery. I think this is the technology of the future, and problem is that Toyota will market before GM …. a great idea!
