2007 chevrolet hhr problems

How is the Chevrolet HHR Ls 2007 edition.?

I was looking for a new car,
And first time I saw Chevrolet HHR I really like it, but all my friends said: mostly Amercian cars has problem. suggest me looking for a Japaness car.
If you have an HHR please tell me how it is

Could someone help me with my car air conditioning problem?

I have posted this before but I think I have narrowed the problem area down a bit. My 2007 Chevrolet HHR air conditioning is having problems. The air will alternate between very cold air to very warm air. You can actually hear the difference when it switches from cold to warm air in addition of naturally feeling the difference. I noticed when I play with the control knob I can make it do the same thing simply by going back a notch it will go cold again. Seems the problem is in the control knob somehow but how do you get to the back of that, do you have to pull the dash in order to get to the back of it??

Sounds like you may have a faulty climate control unit. If your looking to remove it you will need to remove the dash trim/bezel that surrounds it. The whole dash shouldn't need to come out, just the portion that surrounds the climate controls & radio etc. This may require that the knee bolsters and a few other trim pieces be removed such as vents so you can access the bolts that holds the surround. having a shop manual handy is good to show you where all the bolts are and how to remove. If your lucky most of the trim will held on my snaps, gently pull it off. and then unscrew the climate control unit.
