How to remove door panel speaker for the 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt coupe?

Tools needed: Philips screwdriver flat pocket screwdriver head (or drill bit +) tool door panel (easily purchased for a few dollars at Autozone / PepBoys) 1.) Using your screwdriver flatehead small, remove the plastic covering from the A-Chrome behind the handle, B, inside the compartment in the armrest behind the switches. Doing this will reveal three (3) screws. 2.) Using your Philips screwdriver / bit, remove the aforementioned three (3) screws. 3.) Use the tool door panel, carefully lift the panel silver switches, starting from the back side of the door (back of the car). This is held by a clip, not difficult to lift. The reason you want to start here is because the front panel is a clip of the slides under the lip, so he does not want to break it. Disconnect switches. 3.) Beginning at the corner left lower door panel, use your tool panel to start CAREFULLY panel outside the body. If you do this correctly, you will hear a POP, this is one of the many pins out of the housing is a good thing. Follow carefully around the perimeter of the door until all are released. 4.) CAREFULLY pop tweeter sheath the frame, but do not try to remove from the door panel. That does not leave, remove the tweeter and you'll be fine. 5.) Lift the door panel until it is free. 6.) Reach behind the panel on the top and lift the black plastic clip that holds the cable to the doorknob. Must be lifted easily. Door panel has eliminated. I can not stress to you enough to be careful when doing this. Replacement of door parts is not cheap, and this is no exception. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE have care !!!!!!! Once you've done what you want to do, reverse the steps above, with a couple of laps. Twist 1.) Wire handle: Put the silver "support" at the end of the wire into the small hole in the bottom of the black casing. Once at the bottom clip, will be the re-union of the cable to the door handle much easier. Twist 2.) Lower the window all the way to the door before putting the panel again, makes it much easier to do so.

Chevrolet Cobalt $79.19 The Chevrolet Cobalt is a compact car introduced by Chevrolet in 2004 for the 2005 model year. The Cobalt replaced the Cavalier and the Prizm as Chevrolet’s compact car. It is available as both a coupe and sedan and is based upon the GM Delta platform also shared with the Chevrolet HHR, Pontiac G5, Astra (Opel, Vauxhall, Holden, and Saturn marques), and the Opel Zafira (a seven seat MPV). Also available is a high performance, Super Sport variant. All Cobalts are currently manufactured at GM’s Lordstown Assembly plant in Lordstown, Ohio. The United States Environmental Protection Agency classifies the Cobalt as a subcompact car. Starting in 2009, Chevrolet will launch the Cobalt’s global successor the Chevrolet Cruze (based on the new Delta II platform) in Europe with launches in other markets (including the US) to proceed in 2010. The Cruze will be built in multiple locations around the world including the Lordstown Assembly, at which the Cruze will briefly be built alongside the Cobalt until the latter is completely phased out.
